Panic attacks treated with hypnotherapy hypnosis therapy

Panic attacks can vary from slight discomfort to full blown attacks with increased heart rate, rapid breathing and sweating. Regression hypnotherapy allows the sufferer to revisit the childhood incident that subconsciously is causing the panic and to review it, this time as an adult. Hypnotherapy - that's treatment carried out whilst in hypnosis - will allow you to become free of these unpleasant feelings.

HYPNOTHERAPY HYPNOSIS THERAPY FOR PANIC ATTACKS

WHAT IS A PANIC ATTACK?

A panic attack will cause one or more of the following symptoms to appear in the sufferer: Racing heartbeat, difficulty breathing or rapid breathing, fear of loss of control, pains in the chest, fear of terror, possibly fear of dying, dizziness or light-headedness, nausea, hot flushes or coldness, tingling or numbness in various parts of the body.

FACTS ABOUT PANIC ATTACKS:

Panic disorder is twice as common in women as in men. Not everyone who experiences panic attacks will automatically go on to develop full blown panic disorder for example, many people will just experience one attack. It can appear at any age but most often it begins in young adults.  For those who do suffer panic disorder it is important to seek treatment or the disorder can become very disabling.

Panic disorder is quite often accompanied by other conditions such as depression, and may lead to phobias developing in situations where panic attacks have occurred. For example, if you experienced a panic attack whilst sitting on the Tube, you may develop a phobia and perhaps start avoiding this form of transport.

In extreme cases, a person's fears become so great that they eventually cannot leave their own house.  In about one-third of all cases, people's lives become totally restricted by the disorder. The condition is then called agoraphobia. Early treatment of panic disorder can often stop the progression to agoraphobia.

HOW CAN HYPNOTHERAPY HYPNOSIS THERAPY HELP PANIC ATTACKS?

Hypnotherapy is helpful in anxiety disorders.  A course of hypnosis therapy will help to assist in removing fearful thoughts that tend to perpetuate the specific fear. This process will replace the fearful thoughts with positive controlled actions.  See Regression Hypnotherapy

WHAT CLIENTS SAY:

..."It will be 2 years next month that I came to see you.I like to keep you up to date on my progress, the news is that I have gone from strength to strength, my life really did begin for me at forty.

Its thanks to you, I am still working and I feel excited about each new day, (that sounds a bit dramatic I know) but that's how I feel after years of not living at all, just the simple things in life that most take for granted.

Heard you on LBC yesterday, hope more and more people get there lives back the way I have with your work.Thank you"  J.O.

----------------------------------

"I got on the Tube the day after our session. I couldn't believe what I was doing. It felt strange but OK. I went on for two stops and got off. The next day I went all the way to my station without getting off. No sweats, no rapid heart rate, no nausea. Weird but thank you!" T.P.

----------------------------------

"...Yesterday, I even jumped on a train without any second thoughts and I didn't hesitate even though there were no seats free. I haven't done that in a long time especially not during the last few months. It's quite a surprise to me because I was waiting for some kind of panicky feelings to come back. but I felt quite calm......" P.W.
